NO SHOW POLICY FOR INDOOR SOCCER

In order to ensure that everyone who wishes to play Indoor Soccer will have an opportunity to do so; CoedsportsLA has instituted a $5 no-show fee for Indoor Soccer.

A member will be charged the $5 no-show fee when all the following circumstances occur:

1.         The member reserved a spot for Indoor Soccer but does not attend,

2.         the events RSVP list is full, and

3.         there are not enough walk-ons to replace those RSVP players who have failed to show up.

For example, Tuesday Nights 6:40 pm Indoor game has a capacity for 20 RSVPs (4 teams of 5 players).

Scenario One:  Only 17 members sign up for the game. The $5 fee will not been charged to members who signed up but did not attend since no member was denied an opportunity to reserve a spot as there was still space available leading up to the event.

Scenario Two:  All 20 spots are reserved but only 17 of the RSVPs attend. 3 walk-ons also attend so that the capacity for the event is full.  The $5 fee will not been charged to members who signed up but did not attend since the event’s capacity was full despite the no-shows.

Scenario Three:  All 20 spots are reserved but only 17 of the RSVPs attend. No walk-ons attend so that the capacity for the event is short 3 players. The $5 fee will be charged to those members who signed up but did not attend.

The payment of the no show fee will need to be made the next time the member attends an event.  A copy of the sign in sheet from the evening the member failed to appear will be available for the member to review.

Since there will be situations where a member will be unable to attend due to circumstances at the last minute; CoedsportsLA will allow each member one free no-show.  Since members can Un-RSVP up to within 3 hours of the event, one free no-show should be enough to accommodate any last minute emergencies.
